Ruby Lee Johnson began a tradition by donating a "Peacock Quilt" to the Pavo Civic Club
Mrs. Ruby Lee's love of quilting will always be a part of our community.
The Peacock Quilters carry on the tradition by donating a Peacock Quilt each year.
For 26 years the Pavo Civic Club has sponsored the Pavo Peacock Festival which is always held on the 2nd Saturday in May at the Peacock Center (old Pavo School grounds) on McDonald Street. There will be lots of food, arts and crafts, parade and children’s activities. Join us for a wonderful day of family fun.
